About: UCI Care-a-Thon

UCI Care-a-thon is a student initiated and student run, 6-hour dance party that rallies Anteaters everywhere to raise money for the UC Irvine Medical Center's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

100% of all monies raised – every penny – will be donated to UCI's NICU. These funds will not only benefit newborn patients in Orange County, but across the globe. Through its research and teaching programs, UCI is improving the standard of care at NICUs everywhere by training the nurses and doctors who will save the lives of countless babies in crisis – locally, nationally and globally.

UCI Care-a-thon is creating a meaningful tradition of fun and philanthropy on the UCI campus and within the Orange County community by uniting Anteaters everywhere in support of this critical need. With a strong community behind it, UCI Care-a-thon can maximize the impact on our community's tiniest patients.
